Brief Summary

Mr. Yasaro has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) in 2020. During his final year of study in 2019, he did his Advance Fieldwork with SERACS Ltd.

 

He joined SERACS Ltd as Cadet Research Officer in June 2021. Currently he is attached as a Research Associate under the Social Team. Through our engagement on the development projects across the country, Mr Yasaro has been able to develop and equip himself with research, planning, communication, analysis, evaluation, monitoring, report writing and report formatting skills. He is very energetic and has qualities of leadership that will add value to SERACS Ltd in its future endure.

Mr. Yasaro’s key roles and responsibilities as a Research Associate included but not limited to;

 

Work Experience

With more than two years of work experience in both field and office work, Mr. Yasaro has vast experienced in social research, awareness programs, social media marketing and management, training and capacity building of ILGs and administration roles. Mr Yasaro has been engaged to take lead in ILG training and capacity building with other staff members. He has also involved in conducting social research and awareness on the two major projects: Orokolo Iron Sand Mining in Gulf Province and Kamula Doso Carbon Credit Project in Western Province. Both projects are in their development phase.

 

Mr. Yasaro has acquired number of skills such as Planning and Communication, Research, Awareness and Public Speaking, Teamwork and Leadership, Time Management and Adaptability, Data Collection and Analysis, Report Writing and Formatting, Negotiation, Problem Solving and People skills.
