Successful Completion of Social Survey for Bulolo-Nentindo Road Project
Our social team has successfully completed the comprehensive social survey for the 111km road that winds through the rugged mountain ranges and deep valleys of Nentindo, extending to the pine forests of Bulolo. Despite facing significant logistical challenges, adverse weather conditions, and landslides along the corridor, we successfully engaged all relevant samples, households, and key community stakeholders throughout the area.
We extend a special thank you to our dedicated teams—both social and environmental—for their tireless efforts in navigating one of Papua New Guinea's most challenging regions. Their hard work has been critical in ensuring the completion of both social and environmental assessments, which will play a vital role in designing the upgrade of the road between Bulolo and Nentindo.
While the social team will conclude their work by the end of this week, the environmental team will continue their survey, covering the remaining sections from Mehni to Bulolo in the coming days.
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to DT-Global for entrusting us with this important task, and we look forward to the continued collaboration as we move toward the next stages of the project.
