DONATION TO MEI UARIPI PRIMARY SCHOOL

SERACS Ltd has donated eight paints to Mei Uaripi Primary School of Kerema District in Gulf Province.

This donation is apart from our first donation of Bibles to Mei Community on the 18th of August 2021. The Board Chairman of the school, Mr Musa Mai received the paints on behalf of the school at SERACS main office in Port Moresby on Friday 8th October 2021.

According to Mr Mai, the school was established 50 years ago, and it holds the record as a former community school for Papua New Guinea Flag designer, Susan Karike. When appreciating the SERACS Ltd, Mr. Mai said this was the second donation from private agencies since Sept 2020 when he first took office as the Board Chairman of the school

MURO, OROKOLO BAY, GULF PROVINCE

It cost villagers, especially mothers K100 (per trip) to travel by dinghy from Muro (inland Orokolo) to Kerema town to buy basic household necessities like clothes and store items. On our last trip to Muro for the EIA work for Mayur Resource, our team had donated 3 bags of second hand clothes to the villages of Ere-Kilavi, Avavu and Huruta. Our interns have voluntarily contributed the clothes to make that donation.

PC: Ita Pasi (third from left), is one of our interns, who did the presentation to the mothers at Ere-Kilavi village.
